With the brutal reality of the economic recession with us, there is hope for a better future. We need to answer the question, “What kind of future should we be making and can we make for ourselves?”
To create a clear, unencumbered vision of a bright future, we need to rebuild ourselves with the best behaviour and beliefs from the past , creating new and positive action through creative thinking and imagination, and ridding ourselves of bad habits and negative viewpoints that does not serve us in the new and uncertain world we are walking into.
In this workshop we will be exploring the best and most positive from your past in order to envision a positive future through using the techniques of appreciative inquiry. Appreciative inquiry is an approach to purposeful change that utilizes the positive attitude, creativity and imagination of people through:
• Discovering – discovering and understanding those positive things you do well and is working for you
• Dreaming – Creatively envision with a positive focus on those things you can do that will create positive potential in your future
• Design – Creating a plan that will drive you to accomplish a bright future
• Destiny – Strengthening your positive capabilities and building hope and momentum around deep purpose
